Samuel Broussard
“Actions have consequences. Don’t complain to me when karma bites you on the ass.”
Samuel believes in winning, not at all costs but fairly and with effort appropriate to the outcome. He views laziness with the same contempt as hypocrisy, deceit, and theft. He tries to be truthful and just, stand up for what’s right, earn what he has, and live an honourable life.

Background
Samuel is a visionary entrepreneur and respected CEO with deep expertise in information technology, software development, cryptography, and cybersecurity. He holds an advanced degree in computer science from a prestigious university. Early in his career, he worked as a software engineer and then a security analyst, gaining hands-on experience in developing applications, securing data, and understanding the complexities of digital networks.
As Samuel advanced in his career, his passion for problem-solving and innovation led him to start his own company, initially focused on software development and IT solutions. With a keen eye for emerging trends and a forward-thinking approach, he quickly identified the growing need for stronger data protection and privacy measures in an increasingly digital world. His understanding of cryptography and cybersecurity positioned him as a thought leader, enabling him to develop innovative solutions that address the challenges posed by hackers, malware, and data breaches.
Under Samuel’s leadership, his company has grown into a well-respected player in the tech industry, offering services that range from secure software development and encryption technologies to comprehensive cybersecurity systems for businesses and governments. His team of experts builds scalable, innovative platforms that not only protect sensitive information but also enhance user privacy and operational efficiency. His firm’s expertise in blockchain technology, zero-trust security architectures, and end-to-end encryption has earned them a reputation for being at the forefront of the cybersecurity landscape.
Samuel is known for fostering a collaborative company culture where creativity and technical innovation thrive. He encourages his teams to experiment with new technologies, such as artificial intelligence and machine learning, which are integrated into their cybersecurity solutions. His leadership style is often described as bold and decisive, yet empathetic, as he values the growth and well-being of his employees.
A firm commitment to ethics in technology marks Samuel’s entrepreneurial journey. He frequently advocates for responsible data handling, transparency in digital ecosystems, and the ethical use of AI and cryptographic tools. These values have resonated with clients across industries such as finance, healthcare, and government; sectors where data protection is paramount.
Beyond his company, Samuel is a sought-after speaker at technology conferences, particularly in areas concerning cyber defense, cryptography, and the future of privacy in the digital age. He is also a mentor to budding entrepreneurs and a firm believer in giving back to the tech community by supporting cybersecurity education initiatives and STEM programs for the next generation of innovators.
Through his entrepreneurial journey, Samuel has showed an ability to stay ahead of the curve, adapting to rapid changes in the tech landscape while maintaining a strong focus on security, innovation, and ethical business practices. His leadership, expertise, and vision continue to shape the way companies and governments approach data security and software development.
Qui Audet Vincit
Samuel grew up in a small, insular, silver mining town that was miles from anywhere. He learned at an early age the importance of a good reputation. You were a man of your word, or you were lumped in with the liars and thieves. There was no middle ground in a place where everyone knew everyone else.
The miners worked hard, and many played even harder. They spent entire pay packets on alcohol, cigarettes, drugs, whores, and gambling. Wives and children were left without food, a home, or a viable future.
Seeing alcoholism, abuse, homelessness, destitution, and family disintegration up close, Samuel was horrified. As he grew to be a young adult, he withdrew into a small circle of trusted friends who supported him, as he supported them, through some of the most difficult times in their young lives. Along the way, he lost one childhood friend to a motorcycle accident, and another to a drunk driver.
Despite this, Samuel was fortunate. His parents supported his education all the way through to an advanced degree in computer science, despite their limited finances. Samuel did his part and honoured his parents by working hard to overcome his dyslexia, winning a scholarship to a prestigious university, staying in a demanding course a long way away from his family, and graduating.
On his graduation day and while still in his cap and gown, Samuel walked with his father all the way from the university hall to the bus station where his father worked. “This is my son, Samuel. He graduated from university today. He’s going to work with computers. Isn’t that right, son?” Samuel held himself together next to his proud father just long enough to shake hands with his father’s work colleagues and get back out through the bus yard gates.
Fast Track Finance
Soon after graduation, Samuel found work as a software engineer in a nascent telecoms company. About the same time, he took up boxing and started wearing contact lenses. Attempting to dispel “bookish nerd” criticisms, Samuel worked as hard in the gym as he did on learning about his new employer.
Learning to box came easily to Samuel. He had the speed, accuracy, power, and endurance to land punches through a long fight, the defensive skills to avoid being hit, the self-discipline to get in shape and stay that way, and the intelligence to develop a fast, strategic response to his opponents’ tactics on the fly.
However, Samuel chose not to go professional. He detested the controversy and scandals behind professional tournaments and didn’t want to risk permanent brain injury, or worse, for what was, in his opinion, a rigged game. Instead, he focused his ambition on opportunities arising from his workplace.
His father had taught him to follow the money, so Samuel pursued the venture capitalists behind his employer’s funding rounds. He discovered it wasn’t what you knew that attracted investors, but who you knew. After working hard to impress an especially wily and very wealthy backer, Samuel won an opportunity to co-invest in some very interesting cryptocurrency opportunities.
Bitcoin Mining
These opportunities proved to be a wild ride, especially when Samuel had his own money at stake. To this day, he finds it ironic that he made millions of dollars “mining” Bitcoin, the first decentralised cryptocurrency. Had Samuel’s father lived long enough, he would have found it all strange as well.
Samuel knew establishment bankers would try to regulate cryptocurrency trading out of existence if they couldn’t have it all to themselves. He realized his investments just before the currency crashed in mid-December 2017 and moved on.
Samuel re-invested in his own startup, a small company specializing in cyber security, remote working technologies, and virtual and online delivery systems. Rising awareness of “state actors” hacking into government and private IT systems, intellectual property theft, election tampering, and massive data privacy breaches along with a large amount of very hard work ensured his company’s success.
While Samuel’s professional life soared, his private life was bereft of any serious company. He preferred waking up in an empty bed to becoming entangled with the gold diggers and high maintenance socialites who dogged his every move. He’d been working his frustrations out in the training ring and going home to just his two cats for over a year when he had a stunningly beautiful reversal of fortune.
Legs Up To …
Samuel’s cyber security manager gained a new contact. He suggested Samuel meet with this very important potential new client himself.
“What’s his name, Rajhid?”
“His name is Lily,” Rajhid said with a grin.
Samuel knew he’d been set up as soon as Lily walked through the foyer doors and over to where he was standing. She was over six feet tall and very beautiful, dressed expensively in an elegant business suit, a silk shirt, and high heels. Samuel caught a discrete scent, a sublime perfume he breathed in as she stood in front of him.
“Hello Samuel, my name is Lily.”
That’s all it took for the world to shift under Samuel’s feet.
Back in the office, Rajhid was already counting his bonus. He knew Lily well enough to know Samuel didn’t stand a chance. Rajhid wished he could be that lucky, but he knew an intelligent, independent, accomplished, and ambitious woman would choose Samuel over him every time.
Besides, Rajhid knew Samuel would not only meet Lily’s high standards, but exceed every one of them. Rajhid had immense respect for Samuel and wished his boss every success with his new acquaintance. Their synergy would be spectacular!
